Charles Conyers Peacock
Charles Conyers Peacock , 79, of Burleson, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2013. Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Everman officiating will be by brother, Jim Tucker. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Interment: Everman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Everman c/0 the Roof Fund or a charity of your choice. Charles was born December 6, 1933 in Lorena, Texas. He married Ollie Fellers in 1953. Charles served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Benner DDR807. He was employed at Martin Sprocket and Gear for 45 years before retiring in 1996. Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Everman for over 65 years, Deer Creek Masonic Lodge 620 in Everman for almost 50 years and a member of Fort Worth Scottish Rite. His hobbies included antique cars, tractors, hunting, the outdoors and spending time on his farm. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Ollie; son, Steve and wife Laverne; grandsons, Chad and wife, Mandy, Brad and fiance’, Kassie, Blake and wife, Tiffanye; granddaughter, Amy and boyfriend, James; great grandchildren, Trinity, Shelby, Molly, Mallory and Eli; sisters, Louise Van Buren of Bedford and Betty Hitt of Fort Worth; numerous loving family members and friends.
