Charlene Louise Poe (Disser), 62, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at her home in Mineral Wells, TX. She is now at peace. A private memorial will be held for close friends and family that are able to attend. She was born January 19, 1961, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Charles John and Dolores Ann. She moved to Texas in 1984 and immediately “soaked up the sun”. She found a career working for Tarrant County for 28 years; retiring and moving to Mineral Wells in 2019. A Texas woman from the get go and always there to help anyone in need no matter the cost on herself. She absolutely loved going to the coast and basking in the sun. Extremely avid believer that Superman would fly down and sweep her off her feet! However, her true passion was her love for her dogs. They were always by her side to brighten her day. Char was preceded in death by her father, Charles Disser, sister, Donna Davenport, brother Stephen Disser, mother, Dolores Croy (Vonderahe), and stepfather Robert Croy. She is survived by her only child, Brenda Holder and her loving partner Donald, granddaughter, Lyra; sister, Jennifer Malick, niece, Brittney Lea and nephews, Edward Anthony John and Adam Frank; brother, Jeffrey Disser, nephews Jeffrey and Dennis; nephew Jeromie James and niece Joyce Ann; and niece Heather Suzette.
