Charlene F. Gipson
Charlene “Charlie” Faye Gipson, born Sept 6, 1947 in Denver, CO, passed away Feb 7, 2023 in Cleburne, TX. Mom grew up in Denver, CO and Chappell, NE. She graduated from Deuel County HS in Chappell, NE. She worked as a Federal employee for the majority of her career. She is survived by her twin brother Chuck Ramsel, daughter Patricia Acevedo, son-in-law Kenny, grandson Nico and granddaughter Gina; son Michael Valois, daughter-in-law Tammy, grandson Terri, great grandson Talon, granddaughter Stevi Lynn and her husband David, great granddaughter Dani and great grandson Drew; daughter Christine Edsall, son-in-law Vince and 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Tori. Growing up mom made literally ‘everything’. She would crochet sweaters and vests, sew dresses and gaucho’s (she loved her gaucho’s). She was always having us wear the strangest outfits she was able to make. She enjoyed baking, she would make all her desserts from scratch, no box mixes allowed. Mom was very passionate about decorating for all occasions. She was a very artistic and crafty person, which is why I think she enjoyed every season and holiday. Fortunately, we all seem to have inherited this trait from her. Mom moved from Colorado to Kansas with her soulmate Wayne Gipson. They spent their retirement years on the ‘farm’ in Miltonvale, KS. She moved to Texas and lived with her daughter and son-in-law until she earned her wings and reunited with her soulmate at the gates. She will be truly missed by all she touched in her lifetime. Mom, I love you to the moon and back and I will miss you always. Cremation arrangements by Lone Star Cremation.
