Bobby Jack Upton, born September 9, 1933 in Shawnee, Oklahoma went to be with the LORD on November 7, 2012. Bobby was a tribal member of the Citizen Potawatomi Tribe. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Service given by Pastor Terry Williams. He is survived by his two sons, Paul Upton and wife, Merla of Burleson and Terry Upton and wife, Nell of Crowley; Wife Patricia Upton of Fort Worth, Sister Joane O’Rourke of LaGrande, OR and many Grand-children and Great Grand-children.

Bobby Jack and I were cousins, our mothers were sisters. We lost touch after he moved to Texas. In doing research into my family history I happened across this obit. I was saddened to learn of his death and condolences go out to his family. I welcome the opportunity to make contact with any remaining family members. I’ve tried to track down Joane, to no avail.
