McKinney, TX – Bobbi Louise McGuire passed away peacefully in her home, on May 9, 2021, in McKinney. She was born to Bob and Donna Pitts on June 24, 1952, in Monahans, TX. Bobbi graduated from Diamond Hill High School in 1971 and went on to obtain her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College. Bobbi retired from Verizon in 2008 after a successful career as a Customer Service Manager. Bobbi was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother “Gigi”, sister and friend. She had a special love for gardening and shopping. Most of all, Bobbi loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her strength, determination, and most importantly her love and sacrifice for others. Bobbi is predeceased by her father, Bob Pitts in 1996, her mother, Donna Hebern in 2001, and her brother, Larry Pitts in 1990. Bobbi is survived by her children, Ricky Sulffridge and Melissa Johnson; her sisters, Kaye Roberts and Georgia Pitts; her grandchildren, Karess Jackson, Kortney McCoy, Aubreona Otieno, Elliot Ingram, Eric “Dion” Johnson-Otieno, and Alasia Duncan; her great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Kevin “Junior”, Charlie, A’rielle, Lyric, Nova, Willow, Razeek, and Kenya. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Bobbi’s life is scheduled for 6:15 pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Villas of Chapel Creek Clubhouse located at 5775 Parkwood Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034. If possible, we ask that you wear her favorite color purple.
