Betty Click
Betty Click passed from this world to her home with Jesus on June 12, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale. She was wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her place on this earth was to care for those around her whether that was family or friends. She loved her family unconditionally, starting with her loving husband of 63 years, Myrl. Those who knew her knew she was the ultimate caregiver, but always wanting to be behind the scenes; she never wanted to be in the limelight – that was her way. Betty’s gift to her husband and family was her deep desire to keep them close and surround them with love and Food. She loved cooking, especially for family gatherings. We all have “Kitchen Memories” with each of us having that favorite Birthday Meal and, of course, your favorite Birthday Cake! Some people might consider this a chore, but for Betty (Mom & Grandma), this was profound love pleasing us individually. According to a grandson – the secret ingredient in every recipe and gathering was “love”. Preceded in death by her mother, Essie Mae Wilemon, father, Herman Wilemon, brothers, Aaron Wilemon, Herman (Son) Wilemon, Billy Wayne Wilemon, sister, Shirley Cupit and grandchildren Sarah, Joshua, and Jonathan. Survived by: husband Myrl , sister Dorothy Harland, daughter Cynthia and husband, Roy, son Terry and wife, Susan, son Bobby, daughter Sharon, son Lester, and 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
