Rockwall, Texas — Yvonne Maureen Player passed away June 22, 2021, at age 70. This was also her beloved fathers day of death in 1995. For all who knew her, they knew she was a bright and bubbly spirit who loved everyone she came across with all she had. She loved beauty and loved to be beautiful. She was kind, generous and had an infectious laugh that one couldn’t help but love to hear. Yvonne was born in the town of Bexleyheath, Kent, Great Britain. She moved to the United States when she was 19 years old, with dreams of starting her own clothing boutique. After being in California for 7 years she met her first and only husband, Lynn Nelson, and they had one child together, Cydney. After 6 years of marraige, they divorced and Yvonne began her 30+ year career in the car business where she retired as a Finance Manager. After retirement, Yvonne moved to Texas to be close to her daughter and grandchildren. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Cydney Resk, Cydney’s husband Andrew Resk, her grandchildren Jordan and Jacob Ancic, and her sister, Patsy Williams, who lives in Cyprus, Turkey. There will be a very intimate celebration of life for Yvonne for her closest family and friends. Although Yvonne made many new friends in Texas, her closest companion was her sweet cat, Bexley, who had also recently passed. We find comfort knowing they are now reunited in Heaven.
