  2. We will miss Uncle Gill dearly, and he had a heart like no other. We were very blessed to of had Uncle Gill in our lives and will always remember him for the honest, and genuine person he was. Love you so much and we will have the family in our prayers.

  3. I know how much we all miss him! He was such a sweet man! We had a lot of laughs together. It just won’t be the same for anyone else to call me Lora, “you know what I mean?” I love you all and Iam so sorry I couldn’t be there today! Please let me know if I can do anything at all! My prayers are with you all.

  4. I will always remember how kind and gentle he was and how easy he was to be around. I am so glad I was able to see him and tell him that I loved him. I will never forget his sweet face. To the family I love you and I know he is finally resting now.

  5. I will forever miss him calling me “his brown daughter!” : ) I can remember being in their home when just a little girl to visit Karen & how welcome I always felt. Your dad was such a kind, gentle man, with always a smile on his face! He made everyone feel welcome in his home! He will be so missed by my parents who thought the world of him & me…his brown daughter!

  6. These are the things I remember when grampa was with us.I remember when he gripped my hand and yelled biscuit grabber. The next thing I remember is when I read to him and he could barely stay awake. And then I remember when he watched me play football on the front porch. He was the best grampa in the whole world!!!I loved him very much and I miss him already.

  7. It’s funny that Caden mentioned about when PaPa used to grab his hand and say “give me that biscuit grabber” because that’s one of the things I remember as well. I remember when dad would tell me to grab a handful of his chest hair and pull it, and of course I did it, and he would howl and tell me to stop it. I could write pages of all the great memories i’ve had with my Papa, suffice it to say that he will be missed more than I can convey in words He loved all his family with all his heart. Bye Papa
    Love, Keith

  8. In 25 yrs. of marriage to your son I never felt like a daughter -in-law. You had such a gift for making everyone you knew feel special.I cherish all our many talks and laughs together.I am so glad for the time you were able to spend with us, it taught me alot about myself and my family.I thank you and Betty most of all for raising a truly wonderful son.He is who he is because of the love and stability of great parents.Thank you for being a loving father to me! Your-daughter-in-LOVE!!!!

  9. I remember making PaPa get on his hands and knees and i would get on his back and he’d be my horse. Everytime he would say he’s tired and had to rest i would say no I’m not done and he would keep going. Not for too much longer but he did try. Also he gave me a spanking with the broom straw one day and I acted like I was being beat to death. He never spanked me again. I love my grandpa, no one can compare to how wonderful he was. I miss you PaPa
