I am so sorry for your loss. Troy was a great caring leader. And while we have not been in contact for some time, he was one of my favorite managers at Xerox.
I echo the earlier comments that he and Bill Nelson are hanging out in Heaven. They both always cared about us and the employees they served. That was their leadership philosophy. Your marriage was very special. He’s in a better place with no pain. Maybe he can put in a good word for his team the Cowboys. They need all the help they can get.!

    God Bless
    Wesley

  10. BJ, words simply cannot express my feelings here. I loved you and Uncle Troy very much, and though it’s been a few years now, I can still picture him, his smile, and his laugh. He was a real *goofball* – and I say that with lots of love, as we were kindred spirits in that regard. He always greeted me with a smile, a firm handshake, and a tight hug, and I always appreciated that very much. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcome in anyone’s home than I did in yours. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are sincerely with you and the entire family and that my heart is also grieving the loss of a very beloved family member.

    Much Love Always,
    Rob

  17. B.J.,
I am so very sorry to hear of Troy’s passing, and your great loss. I was his secretary at one time, and worked with both of you for several years. They were some of the most fun years I experienced at Xerox. Troy had such a gift for making everyone happy and enjoy working with him. I remember some of the outings we had, too, with the team … we always had a ball. May God be with you and your family, and bring you peace.

  18. BJ, So sorry for your loss. I have many great memories of Troy at Xerox. It was a great place to work with many many great people. Please be kind to yourself in the coming days. Hugs, Chris Fathauer Lignoul

  19. We shared so many good memories. I remember when we sung “Killing Me Softly” at a work function., you played the guitar. You were one of my favorite managers. There are some people in life who you are spiritually connected to. That was us. We may not have talked for years but what are years to kindred spirits? It’s like the blinking of an eye. Then you married a beautiful kindred spirit, BJ. I promise you Troy I’ll always be in her life. You rest now.

  20. BJ- you and Troy were the perfect couple. Each of you provided your partnership with balance, respect and great love. Many blessings & prayer being extended to you and the family.

  21. I remember the first time I met Troy in 1984, he had a smile and loved to laugh. Troy was an admirable Operations Billing Manager who enjoyed life and did the right thing for our customers and distinguished himself from others in excellence. He believed in providing the best work atmosphere for all his managers and employees while he recognized employees with outstanding performance.
He was missed after he left Xerox and will now truly be missed! He was a man of many qualities, but the best part is he placed a smile on your face.

  22. The passing of our friend is very sad. May you find comfort knowing we will each do our part to keep his memory alive by speaking of him often, recalling his radiant smile, remembering his supportive, honest, open and direct style, and the joy we received as he shared his music. We all admire the love you shared. We offer our abiding strength and support, as we share your sorrow, for this fine man.
