Theresa Ann King
Theresa Ann King, age 63, gained her heavenly wings on September 19 2021 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital, Ft Worth TX. A celebration of life is scheduled for October 16 2021 @ 2:00pm at a private residence in Clyde Tx. Theresa was born April 18 1958 to Joe and Lupe Martinez in Las Vegas, NM. She graduated high school in Raton NM in 1977. On August 16 1997 she married the love of her life, her soul mate, Thaddeus King. They shared a life love, laughter, patience, and kindness. Everything they did, they did together, the kind of love that most dream of. In 2015 Theresa and Ted moved to Texas where they planted their roots. Theresa was full of life and love for her family. Her children and grandchildren were her joy and happiness. She loved chasing her youngest granddaughter (Cayleigh) around, playing and laughing. They danced together, sang together, played together, and had an unbreakable bond. Best friends in the truest sense. She enjoyed spending time with her family whenever she had the chance. She never passed up an opportunity to brag about what a good man her son (Chris) is or how beautiful her daughter (Alethea) is. She never turned down a meal cooked by Chris, she loved the way he could grill a steak or a hamburger. In earlier years, Theresa enjoyed making candy in her kitchen with her kids and grandkids. She was 100% devoted to her family. She loved sharing old family photos and talking about her childhood, her parents and her siblings. Her siblings were her closest friends growing up. She was preceded in death by her Father, Joe Martinez She is survived by her Husband, Thaddeus (Ted) King of Clyde Tx, Mother, Lupe Martinez of Las Vegas NV, Her Son Chris Rivera and wife Angela of Clyde Tx, Daughter Alethea Halliday of Whitney Tx, Son Matthew Rivera of Pueblo CO, Sisters Josie, Berna ( husband James), and Rose. Brothers Joe Jr, David (wife Virginia), and Dwayne. Granddaughters Vanessa, Christa, Tabitha, and Cayleigh, One grandson, Christopher and 3 great grandchildren. Theresa is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who will miss her dearly.

  1. She was a beautiful person. And will make a beautiful guardian angel for Cayleigh. So glad we meet her & her husband and got to spend wonderful time together. She will stay in our hearts & minds forever. We love you Theresa & your family always. You left us to soon.

  2. My condolences to all the family. I worked with Theresa for 20 some years at the Luxor, and she was a great person to share part of my life with. We all loved her there and she will be missed by a lot of us. May she rest in peace.

  7. Theresa and I shared many personal moments together when she had her hands full being the best Momma to three little ones. I was so amazed with her strengths and how she loved those babies! She was so special! May she rest now ! Condolences to the family as I know they will miss her! God Bless!
