Tana Grubb
We lost our dear sister and friend on Fri., Sept. 23, who was always there with love and care for others. She was an active advocate of the humane treatment of animals. Tana’s private nature kept most from knowing of her many contributions to our community such as serving actively in COP and CERT.  She wore many hats including her passion as writer/editor.  Suggested memorials to HSNT, ASPCA or her church, Trinity Episcopal Church, 3401 Bellaire Dr., where her memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Mon., Sept. 26.

  1. It was always a pleasure to work with Tana at Tandy/Radio Shack for over a decade. She left her impression of all that met her in this life. I appreciate my sister telling me about her death, but those who knew her will not forget her in their lives today. Bet she smoked til the very end and enjoyed ever breath she took.

  2. No! Tana was one of the ‘good’ ones! I believe she and I were the only two admitted Democrats at RadioShack corporate. She was such a wonderful, caring person. A true professional in her work, she made work-life for this engineer tolerable. A donation is on its way to HSNT in her name. Everyone, please do the same.

  3. I am saddened to hear of Tana’s passing; she was an appreciated asset to Radio Shack and a wonderful friend to many. May her family and friends find comfort in warm memories.

  4. I’m so sad to hear that Tana is gone. She was my editor when I was a writer at Radio Shack and she was a wonderful person. She was one of the best supervisors I have ever had and I respected her so much. I know she is in heaven now. Tana, you are missed!
