Shelia Kay Godwin
FORT WORTH — Sheila Kay Godwin, 70, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, at a local hospital from a long-term illness. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, in the chapel of Mirabella Assisted Living, 4242 Bryant Irvin Road, Fort Worth. Sheila was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Kane, Pa. She was an avid flea marketer for most of her life. She will be missed. Sheila was preceded in death by a daughter, Lacye Shelley, and parents, Earl and Shirley Sprester. Survivors: She is bereaved by her brothers, Dean Sprester and Jeffrey Sprester and wife, Nan; sons, Danny Goff and wife, Debra, and Eston Goff: daughter, Kellye McKim; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews.

  1. Kind of late now. Shiela was my friend and Kellye is my girlfriend. The last theing she told me was “take care of my baby girl”… and gave me instructions. I’m trying and will not give up on her wishes. God bless her.
