Sheila Saddler
Sheila fell asleep in death on October 12, 2021, in Arlington, TX, with her family by her bedside after a long struggle with congestive heart failure. Sheila Faye Saddler was born on March 17, 1958 to Eddie and Renia Hill in Portland Oregon. Sheila is survived by her mother, Renia Hill, her three children: Jahmone (Jay) Ogden, Roshawnda Saddler, Chauncey Saddler, and their spouses. Sheila has 3 grandchildren, Tia McBride, Jaden Saddler, and Kayla Harshaw, as well as three siblings, Debra Smith, Mary Odom, Bobby Wakefield, and their spouses as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sheila loved to share Bible truths with others. She also enjoyed music very much and taught her children to enjoy singing and dancing. She had an infectious smile which was accented by a notable dimple. Sheila was known for her generous spirit and outgoing personality. She was baptized and became a minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1972. She was a student of the Bible and helped others learn about the beautiful future that our Creator promises. One of her cherished beliefs was the resurrection of the dead back to life in a restored paradise earth (Acts 24:15); this was Sheila’s hope for the future, and we look forward to seeing Sheila again just as she was in her youthful days. Due to the circumstances surrounding Covid, a Memorial Service will be held via Zoom at 3:00pm CST on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. Meeting ID: 864 0106 4450 Passcode: 939 456.
