  1. Mark:
I am praying for you and your family as you celebrate the life of you beloved mother. I know it is a mixture of sadness and joy — from losing her presence in your daily life to the absolute knowledge that she is in the arms of the Savior and that you will be reunited someday.
    God bless you,
    Teri

  3. Love to my sweet Aunt, who has gone to be with the Lord and Uncle Lester. I will always cherish your beautiful smile and lilting laugh- and your sense of humor! Rest in the peace of Christ! I’ll see you on the other side.

  5. Ruth was a wonderful mentor and our first Sunday School Teacher at FBC Burleson after our salvation in August 1976. She and Lester were wonderful mentors over these many years. Ruthie laugh was a springtime ray of sunshine. As a couple they were an example to follow as you could tell they loved each other but there was just a hint of spice in their retorts to each other. I remember being so impressed that their wedding rings had a verse from the Book of Ruth-
“where you go I will go”. such a quality and graceful woman of God

  7. We loved Ruth. We met Ruth when we served on the Missions Development Council together at church. Right from the start, we grasped her heart for missions and for others. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to know her and have her as our friend. She was and will always be such a very special person. We will remember the twinkle in her eye when she spoke of her family. What a joy it was know her and to appreciate her service to our Lord. Ruth will be missed, but glad we will see her again one day. Our sincerely love to all of you.

  9. Ruth I remember all of the date nut breads you would bake for me and all the kindness you always showed. Both you and Lester were amazing in so many ways. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten and it has left a lasting impression on me. You both were great mentors as well as my friend. May God Bless your family during this difficult time of loss but may they also rejoice in your eternal salvation.
