BURLESON — Ronald L. Kirsch, 55, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, with his wife, Suzy, always by his side.
Suzy, please know you’re in my thoughts during this sad and difficult time. Like you, Ron was both brave and admirable in the face of extreme adversity. I know you were a source of comfort and strength for him.
The Kirsch and Taylor/Wuestefeld families go back many years, even before I knew Wayne….Wayne was one of Larry’s first students at L’burg….I know the loss of Ron is very difficult for you and your mother and our prayers are with your entire family at this most difficult of times..
Ron was a very gentle man – reminded me so much of Pete Lalic (& Suzy – you of Aunt Pat!) – it was nice to see he had the patience and understanding to keep Suzy beside him all of these years.
Ron, Your work is done here on Earth and so it is time to rest and wait for us all. God made your beautiful soul to shine in the hearts of loved ones and forever we will think on you and endure until we meet again…
Ecclesiastes 3:9-14
9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil?this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.
I am a firm believer in God and I know that Ron is a much better place, a place where he gets to renew past relationships with family and friends that have passed before him. In the time that I personally got to work with Ron, I always found him to be a very friendly and sincere man whom made it a pleasure to work with everyday regardless how stressful his day might have been. Ron was truly a quality person that this world will miss, but Heaven just got that much better !
Suzy, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Although I never had the fortune of knowing Ron personally, I felt like I knew him through your stories.
We would like to extend our sympathy to the Kirsch Family. I am a friend and co-worker of Wayne and even though I did not know Ron I still feel your loss. As always, your family will be remembered in our thought and prayers.
