Robert Eddie Shilling
Robert Eddie Shilling, born on July 30, 1992, entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2010 after a courageous battle with drug addiction. Rob, also known as Tattoo Rob, lived life to its fullest. He loved nature, playing the guitar, frisbee golf, spending time with friends and eating sushi. He hoped someday to become a counselor to help other young people. He found an extended family in Cornerstone Recovery, who supported him and loved him unconditionally. His sister Lauren will remember him as the best friend she ever had, and will miss his sense of humor and his wonderful outlook on life. Rob is survived by loving parents Brita and Jim Freed, of Conroe, Tx; father Robert Shilling of Seabrook, Tx; as well as sister Lauren Shilling. He also left behind grandparents Eddie and Fern Yung of LaPorte, Tx and Robert and Donice Shilling of Milam, Tx; as well as three Uncles, Chuck and Kim Yung, Larry and Nancy Yung, and Tim and Sabrina Shilling. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Sue Shilling, and Uncle Ron Yung. The memorial service will be conducted on November 27, 2010 at 2pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3901 South Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Recovery in remembrance of Rob at www.cornerstonerecovery.org
