Robert A. “Bubba” Webb
Rio Vista, TX- Robert A. “Bubba” Webb died on June 5, 2018 in Cleburne, TX after a long battle with M. S. He was born on November 5, 1951 in Gatesville, TX and was raised in Flat, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Donna Faye Webb, Bob Webb, sister Barbie Oldeen, and infant son Silas Avenager Webb. He is survived by his devoted wife Medena and their children, Jimmy York and family, Jason York and family, Lacy Webb and family; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his faithful companion, Maggie; siblings Donita Evetts and family, Walt Webb and family, Carlos Webb and family, Carnetta Hughitt and family and special friend Judy Graves. Bubba loved fishing, hunting, camping and water skiing. He was a talented and artistic welder who could make anything. He married the love of his life Medena, in 1979 and made their home in Cleburne, TX. He loved and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a practical joker, had a big heart, and one of his favorite sayings was “I have to sleep with my glasses on so I can see what I’m dreaming about”. He studied the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1990. He was a faithful servant and enjoyed helping others study the Bible. Services will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 4:30 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 2332 County Rd. 312, Cleburne, TX. There will be a gathering directly after services at the Webb home at 809 Green St., Rio Vista, TX.

  2. My dear sister Medena, you and tour family have our deepest condolences. Bubba was our friend and brother. We loved him dearly. He had such a beautiful personality. He couldn’t help it, he was Bubba. I look forward to the time when we will see our dear friend and brother in the resurrection. We love you my dear friend and sister.

  5. Bubba and I were friends from pre school on . He called me Hoss and I called him Bubber. I will miss him.
