Richard Bryant
Richard Bryant, 80 years old, passed away in his home on ,March 6th 2017 in Everman, Texas due to complications following lung cancer. Mr.Bryant was born to his parents, Cleatis and Annabelle Bryant in Everman Texas and attended school in Everman ISD. He was married to Betty Bryant and he served in the U.S. Navy. Richard was a retired Union Iron Worker and loved spending time with his family. When he was not having family time, he was spending time outdoors in his garden, fishing, hunting and playing cards. Richard is survived by his daughter and son in law, Angela and Joey Humphreys of Everman Texas, his brother and sister in law, Cleatis and Jan Bryant, sister and brother in law Annette and Roy Lewis, grandchildren;Chrystal Alexander, Ashley Horton and Richard Jones, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, daughters Karen Bryant and Alisa Jones and parents Cleatis and Annabelle Bryant. Richard Bryant’s Memorial Service will be at the Burleson Church of Christ, 1150 N.W. John Jones Rd.,Burleson Texas ,on Saturday, March the 18th at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Richard,s life. Flowers may be sent to the church.

  1. Richard was a hoot to be around. He was always good to me and I will never forget his kindness. He was a man of convictions and he stood by them. I admired that in him.

  2. Mr Bryant was one of the sweetest men I’ve met in my entire life. I remember he always worked hard to take care of his family. I loved sitting and talking with him and we even played cards one time. Angie and I have known each other since elementary school and I feel so bad for her and her family’s loss. Rest In Peace and fly high with the angels Mr Bryant!
