Rhett Alan Fite
Rhett Alan Fite passed away on May 12, 2022, in McKinney, Texas at the very young age of 24. Rhett was born on February 26, 1998. Rhett is survived by his parents Robert and Tammie Fite, grandparents Alan and Cindi Fite, Susan Martin, and Sharon Vangurp. Uncles and Aunts Brian and Jodie Harless, Matt and Lindsi Norris, Pete and Rose Vangurp, and Brian Fite and Fernanda Fite. He has numerous great uncles/aunts, cousins, and friends who loved Rhett unconditionally. Rhett graduated from Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield and attended the University of North Texas where he received his Bachler of Science degree in Psychology. Rhett enjoyed building computers and was a loving and compassionate son. Rhett will be forever missed and always remembered in the hearts of his loving family and friends. A celebration of Rhett’s life will be Friday, May 20, 2022, from 1pm to 4pm. The celebration will be a private event for his family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Prairie “Prairie Paws” animal shelter where Rhett worked and fell in love with his dog, Leroy.   15. I remember Rhett as such a kind young boy who was always eager to help everyone. He brightened our fourth grade classroom with his cheerful disposition and care for others. I pray the tender memories of Rhett will bring some comfort to his loving family.

  16. He was too young. He humbled me. He loved so openly and wanted to change the world. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of him and wish he knew the difference he made in my life and how much he was loved.
