Renee Milburn Fisk
Renee Milburn Fisk, 71, of Crowley went to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Burleson, Texas. Her graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 9:00am at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Renee was born on November 23, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas to “Pete” and Caroline Milburn. She attended Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth. She lived and worked in the Fort Worth area all of her life while never being very far from her family. My mother, Renee, was the most generous person that I’ve ever known! She would go above and beyond to help those in need. Christmas was her favorite time of year so she could give to others. There are countless times when she would pay for events that her family could attend and she would put in extra hours at work to do so. Her love for animals was undeniable. She would give a home to strays or find a refuge for them. The majority of her life’s employment involved working and being around all types of pets. Renee loved being a mother and grandmother. She attended EVERY event relating to school or church that her son was involved in. She didn’t miss a step when her two grandchildren came along either! Trips as far as Lubbock or Abilene were never out of the question regardless of her schedule. Her granddaughter and grandson were the “apples of her eye.” My mother’s faith was the most important. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and remained a lifelong member. Her faith never wavered through any crisis including the last days of her life. Renee leaves us with an abundance of memories to cherish, but a void in the family that can never be restored while living in this world. Mom is survived by family and friends who will never forget her. Our God is good! In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society of North Texas at https://hsnt.org/ ; Community Hospice of Texas at https://www.chot.org/ or Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.

  1. There are so many memories that if I get started I won’t know when to stop. I’m gonna miss her and my heart hurts that I’ll never see my friend and neighbor in the flesh again. I love you all.

  2. I will miss my sweet cousin who loved life to the fullest. I c an still hear her laughter as she loved to laugh and make others laugh with her. So many memories of our summers together as cousins playing and growing up together. Love you Renee. Your favorite. Oklahoma Cousin Susie Timmerman Frazier……but born in Ft Worth.
