  1. My heart is still aching for all of you (and for myself). Randy will be missed terribly by all who knew him. Maybe we can take comfort in the belief that our Spirits never die. They live on and on. So in that way he is still very much WITH us. Lots of Love, Gina (and Taggett)

  2. I never got a chance to meet you but heard a lot about you from Amanda. Our hearts are with the Cates family. With love from Istanbul Turkey.

  12. Randy holds very special place in my heart, and in the heart of my extended family. My daughter wears the ring that he made for me when I was married to my children’s father. I have such wonderful memories of the warm welcome we received when visiting your home, and the time that you visited Seattle brought a much-needed smile from our Dallas friends. It’s funny that I can’t really think of Randy without thinking of Terry. So, to you sweet Terry please know that your husband’s memory is cherished by thousands of people I hope that that warms your heart and will comfort you in the days to come. He will not be forgotten. Prayers for you and your family.

  13. The best bass player and the best person ever. We will miss him and remember him always.
