Ramsey Coy Rowland
Ramsey Coy Rowland peacefully passed away surrounded by family on August 19th, 2022. Ramsey was born to Judy and Francis Rowland on July 16, 1979, in Casper, Wyoming. Ramsey always had a passion and a well trained ear for music and could tune a guitar just based on his own ear. He loved all kinds of music from the golden oldies, blues, to the best of grunge, and old school punk rock. Ramsey made friends with everyone, if you were lucky enough to know him, he was an instant friend. Ramsey combined his love of music and people to work as a Dallas/ Fort Worth DJ in various clubs. Ramsey graduated from Victor Valley High School in 1999. He later joined the US Navy and served for 5 years on the USS Jefferson City and USS Michigan. Ramsey gained long lasting friendships with his sea mates. Above all, the most important thing in Ramsey’s life were his children. He filled his weekends with campfires, zoo trips, and lots of movie nights. He wanted every minute spent with his kids to be one of joy. Ramsey is survived by his beautiful children Jameson and Victoria whom, he loved more than anything, his wife Kat, his parents Francis and Judy Rowland, brother Tyler Rowland, sisters; Carly Clapper and Haley Rowland. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Coy and Margaret Rowland and Kenny and Joan Rambold. Fair winds and following seas Ramsey, we have your watch. There will be a flag service for his children at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth promptly on September 16th at 2pm.

  2. You were one of the real ones my brother. They’re not lying when they say upon meeting you, you’re an instant friend. From day one you were my friend. I already miss our talks and jokes. 😔 I still have trouble believing your actually gone. Maybe you’re just on a long vacation. I just want you to know that Jameson is a strong one my friend. Perfect gentleman and tales great care of Victoria. I watched them together at your memorial and he didn’t leave her side. Little squeaks was running around like the little turbo monster we all know her as. Cute as ever. I miss you, bro we all do. Rest well, give heaven some hell, and hold a spot for the rest of us. 💝💪🏼

  3. Rest in peace Ramsey. You always had a good heart, and loved your family deeply. I know that you will be watching over your children and Kat. You will be missed.

  4. I was fortunate enough to have met, Ramsey, when I did. I believe that he called me a friend, because I called him a brother in arm’s, and friend. My wife, and I will never forget him, and y’all will always be in our thoughts, and in our hearts.

  5. Ramsey was my brother-in-law, but I claimed him as a chosen brother for life. He was the big brother I never got to have and he brought my beautiful niece and step nephew into this world. He was a good, honest, kind, and loving man. I’m forever grateful for having met him and being his chosen little sister. My biggest regret now is that I didn’t check in with him as often as I would have liked; life got in the way. But I hope and pray he knew that I loved and cared for him.
    For his family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your son, grandson, brother, husband, nephew, father, and friend. Ramsey gave his all for those he loved and he will be deeply missed.
Save me a beer, big brother. I’ll see you again.
