Patricia Mae (Morgan) Fields
Watauga – Patricia Mae (Morgan) Fields, a long time resident of the Ft.Worth area, died Saturday evening, July 9th at the Community Hospice House in Burleson after fighting a 2 year battle with kidney cancer.  Born April 29th, 1949 in Ft.Wayne, Indiana, Pat was proud to be a responsive and skillful ICU nurse. She was particularly well known for warm hearted care of her patients. She was also a loving Mother to her two children as well as a doting grandmother to her grandson. The thing that meant the most to Pat was her relationship with Jesus Christ.  She said,”it comforts me to know that when I take my last breath on earth, that I will take my next one in heaven when I see Jesus face to face.” Pat is survived by her daughter Angela (Angie) Francis of Watauga, her son Erick Fields (Weatherford), grandson Evan Fields, sister Ginger Young (Burleson), half-sister Clara Bielecki (Arkansas), sister-in-law Dee Morgan (Amarillo), and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her parents James Rufus Morgan and Ann Lea Morgan, an infant son James Ryan Stacy, and her brother James Morgan Jr.

  1. Prayers and strength sent to all of her friends and family.Her friendship of 30 plus years was a gift I will have in my heart forever. While I am missing my daily talks with Pat, I am thankful her suffering and fight is over. Her beautiful memory will live on in her daughter Angie.

Unfortunately there’s is little anyone can say to help you grief and sorrow But the GOD that your mom trusted in can, HE cares about all of your broken heart, HE knows before you ask what you need. Lean on HIM and HE will be the light in your darkness. Praying for all your family for a peace than only God can provide.

  5. While I am saddened by her passing, I’m glad she’s no longer suffering. She was like another mother to me. Growing up she was always telling me what a bad influence I was on her daughter. I used to think she didn’t like me. But then I had my first child. She couldn’t wait to see him. I realized she just wanted what was best for me like her daughter. I loved her and will miss her

  6. I didn’t know her well but she seemed like a very sweet person. I’m sorry for your loss but am glad she is no longer suffering. I lost my first husband to cancer and know what a horrible disease it is.

  7. I’m so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that she is now pain-free and walking with the angels. Remember that one day you will be with her again. Then you can walk together and talk together for all eternity
