  1. Don and I referred to each other as “Brothers”, as we both served in the military and being Christians. We kept in touch after he left Grapevine and we prayed together a few times for my needs and his as of late. I will miss my “Brother” and my friend but his departure is welcomed as he is no longer in pain.

  3. Never thought you would leave so soon, but God had another plan. You laid your foundation and now it is our turn as the MCF family to finish the vision that was given to you. Thank you for all you have taught us and shown us.

  5. I worked for a short time with Don at the City of Grapevine before he retired. Don was a kind, pleasant friend to me and I enjoyed working with him. We made each other laugh.
God bless Don’s soul and bring him to everlasting peace. Don’s glorious journey has just begun.
Many blessings to Don’s family and friends.

  7. My late husband, Leo, and I have been friends with the Ellison’s through our daughter, Linda, who is a member of their Church. We sought the Ellison’s counsel innumerable times and they were the most gracious people anyone could know. I know Pastor Ellison will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers and sincere sympathy go to his family as well as the Church members he served.

  9. My heart and condolences and are with the family in this time of mourning. Uncle Donald and family always opened his home to me when they resided in Alaska. Though we may never understand, the Lord needed an angel. You all are in my prayers

  11. I was very saddened this morning as I read in the newspaper of Don’s passing. He was a very special man of God and it was a honor to know him and to work with him several years ago as his vision for Mahanaim became a reality. I wish to extend my sympathy and prayers to Hanna and his family. I know he will be missed however, we all know he is in a better place and can now look face-to-face into the eyes of Jesus. God bless the church and his family during these difficult times. In Christ, Ken Pulley

  13. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family at the loss of your loved one. May God almighty father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). We all eagerly look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of reuniting with our dead loved ones again in paradise (John 5:28,29) I pray that God continues to be with you all.
