I am so saddened to hear of my dear friend Clarence’s passing. I have thought of him many times over the years. We were in the same high school class, class of 1966, at LaVega High School. He was always a cheerful, fun person and leader, and a wonderful singer! I always remember Clarence singing one solo in particular–he had such a beautiful voice–namely, “There is a Balm in Gilliad.” He sang this often before the whole school in choir and got many honors for it. Every time I hear that song I think of Clarence. I will miss you dear friend. I pray for you and your sweet family!–See you in heaven, Linda
