
BURLESON — Naomi L. Hilley, 93, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 1 pm Monday at De Leon Cemetery in De Leon. Visitation: 4 to 6 pm Sunday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home & 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday at Nowlin Funeral Home in De Leon, Texas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Naomi Hilley’s name at Meals on Wheels Johnson County www.mowjc.org or Camp Machaceh www.campmachaceh.org Honorary Paul Bearers: Lucy Den Bleyker, Ruth Crowder, Louise Dunaway, Jerry Fisher, Leona Freeman, Katheleene Green, Vivian Hadley, Elaine Roberson, and Maureen Smith. Naomi was born in Comyn, Texas, December 28, 1915 to C.M and Lottie Caraway. She graduated from Comyn High school and attended Tarleton College. She enjoyed crafts, games and visiting with friends and family. Naomi was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Boyd Hilley, her parents, her sister and two brothers and daughter-in-law, Cindy Hilley. Survivors: Daughter, Charlotte Pierce and husband Max of Fort Worth, Son, Harold Hilley of Burleson, granddaughters, Leslee Lewis and husband Pat of Aledo, Amy Faires of Aledo, and Meg Faires of Fort Worth, grandsons, H.G. Hilley of Dallas and Ben Hilley of Vail, Co., Great-grandchildren Lauren and Carter, numerous nephews and nieces.
