Mitchell “Mitch” Dawain Anderson
Mitchell “Mitch” Dawain Anderson, 48, returned to his heavenly home on Friday, January 6th, 2017 surrounded by his wife, children, and family. His loving devotion to his family and friends followed by his firm belief in God ultimately gave him peace. A viewing will be held at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301 South Fwy, Burleson, TX 76028 on Monday the 9th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The funeral will be on Tuesday the 10th at 2:00 pm at Pathway Church, 325 NW Renfro St., Burleson, TX 76028. Mitch was born to Merrill and Jimmie Lou Anderson on August 21st, 1968. Mitch had a love for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and skiing. He loved country music and enjoyed dancing with his wife, daughters, and even a stranger if they wanted to. Mitch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. His smile was contagious and he had the ability to make each person he met laugh. Proceeded in death by his grandmother Callie Rush “Gran Gran”; father Merrill Anderson; his father-in-law Junior Smith; cousin Michelle Outlaw-Moore. Survivors: Devoted wife Keri Anderson; daughters Taylre Rivas and husband Robert, Tarah Miller and husband Sean; grandchildren Kynadi Rivas and Elizabeth “Ellie P” Miller; mother Jimmie Lou Lewis and husband John; brother Greg Anderson and wife Dawn; sister-in-law Tami Barton and husband Danny; nephews Kevin Anderson and Justin Barton; niece Alex “Donkey” Barton; great-niece Kayci Luce; mother-in-laws Cindy Smith and Paula Bentley; and several cousins and friends. Mitch will be dearly missed by his loved ones who know he is finally at peace. The family appreciates all of the prayers and kind thoughts sent their way.

  7. My heart is heavy. Big hugs, BIGGER PRAYERS!!! Mitch will truly be missed; his contagious smile and love for his family are two things that come to mind when I think about him. I pray that God will wrap HIS hands a little tighter around Mitch’s family and provide a peace that only HE can.

You had the biggest heart of anyone I ever knew and you led with that heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I will always remember you and that toothy Texas grin of yours. Love and hugs when we see each other again.

I ask that God will hold Jimmie and the entire family tightly to him and give you all the strength you need to get through this heavy burden and loss. You are all in my thoughts.   25. Here it is 2019 and I’m just now finding out. So sorry, I have no clue what happened, but at this point God Almighty and Mitch are well good, good Friends and watching over the family. I’m sorry for your loss and do offer my condolences and thoughts and prayers. Just want y’all to know my heart was broken with this news and needed to pay my respects somehow.
