Mitchell “Mitch” Dawain Anderson, 48, returned to his heavenly home on Friday, January 6th, 2017 surrounded by his wife, children, and family. His loving devotion to his family and friends followed by his firm belief in God ultimately gave him peace.
A viewing will be held at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301 South Fwy, Burleson, TX 76028 on Monday the 9th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The funeral will be on Tuesday the 10th at 2:00 pm at Pathway Church, 325 NW Renfro St., Burleson, TX 76028.
Mitch was born to Merrill and Jimmie Lou Anderson on August 21st, 1968. Mitch had a love for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and skiing. He loved country music and enjoyed dancing with his wife, daughters, and even a stranger if they wanted to. Mitch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. His smile was contagious and he had the ability to make each person he met laugh.
Proceeded in death by his grandmother Callie Rush “Gran Gran”; father Merrill Anderson; his father-in-law Junior Smith; cousin Michelle Outlaw-Moore.
Survivors: Devoted wife Keri Anderson; daughters Taylre Rivas and husband Robert, Tarah Miller and husband Sean; grandchildren Kynadi Rivas and Elizabeth “Ellie P” Miller; mother Jimmie Lou Lewis and husband John; brother Greg Anderson and wife Dawn; sister-in-law Tami Barton and husband Danny; nephews Kevin Anderson and Justin Barton; niece Alex “Donkey” Barton; great-niece Kayci Luce; mother-in-laws Cindy Smith and Paula Bentley; and several cousins and friends.
Mitch will be dearly missed by his loved ones who know he is finally at peace. The family appreciates all of the prayers and kind thoughts sent their way.
