Michael Andrew Cunningham
Michael Andrew Cunningham of Burleson Texas lost his battle with Cancer October 16, 2014. Michael, also known as Big Mike, was born July 21st 1953 in Cleburne Texas to Margaret and Joe Cunningham. During his life he enjoyed several sports and hobbies including playing the lead guitar in a garage band as a teenager. After high school he moved to Burleson Texas to raise his family. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and softball during those years. Later in life, his passion was playing darts in city leagues and tournaments. Big Mike was a Loving Father, Grandfather and Friend. He is survived by his son Steven Michael Cunningham of Burleson, daughter Daina Michelle Anderson and husband Brandon of Fort Worth, grandsons Conner Cunningham and Kyle Cunningham, sisters Viola Newman of Keene, Alice Cunningham of Keene and Joy Yaremko and husband, Brian, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and his companion and friend Gail Marselli of Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Cunningham and Mother, Margaret Cunningham. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation and Remembrance for family and friends will be October 21, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home.

  15. We are sorry for you lost Mike and Diana, we loved him very much. He was there when we needed him, we had some good times, my kids loved him like dad. You had a great dad and he was a great man, he had a good heart for everyone he will be missed.

Though we only met once I would talk with Michael thru the years on the phone and he was always willing to chip in and help, with a great attitude. He was a wonderful friend to know.
