Matthew Wasem
Matthew James Wasem, 31, of Fort Worth, Texas died March 17, 2022, in Fort Worth. Matt was born on January 10, 1991 to Chuck and Lisa Wasem in El Paso, Texas. Matt grew up in El Paso and Arlington Texas and graduated from Martin High School in 2009. He married Kristen Ann Tucker on March 22, 2014 and they share their home with three much-loved critters, Yellow, Darla, and Sputnik. Matt was creative and expressed this through his art and music. His love for art is exhibited in the many projects seen in their home. Matt taught himself to play the guitar and from there went on learn other instruments including banjo, mandolin, violin, and piano. Matt had a love and appreciation for all genres of music, an attribute he shares with his Dad. Matt is survived by his much-adored wife, Kris, parents Lisa and Ed Lingenfelter, brother Alex Wasem (Kayla), nieces and nephews, and many extended family members, and friends. Matt is greatly missed each moment by those of us who love him.   5. I remember Matt playing basketball with the younger kids at Arlington Christian Church. He was kind and funny and encouraging to those younger kids! I grieve with you and my prayers are for each of you. May God bless each of you as you work through and go through this process.

  10. Matt was a co worker of mine at State National. We were hired the same day and went through training together. He was very nice and always willing to help. He will be missed very much.

  11. Just found out about Matt I’m so sorry for your loss he was a great person I enjoyed him coming over to my house and playing the guitar with my son justin and seeing him at work when he worked at Target RIP
