Mary Jarrett Jones
Mary Jarrett Jones passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, April 10, 2017, at the age of 90. Visitation: Tuesday, April 18,6-8 p.m. at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301S. Freeway, Ft. Worth, TX 76028 Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the Protestant Fellowship Chapel, St. Francis Village, 4070 St. Francis Village Rd, Crowley, TX 76036 Interment: 11:30 a.m. Bluebonnet Hills, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034 Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests that you please consider making a donation to your favorite charity. Mary was born on August 3,1926 in Lawrence, KS to the late Euna and Henry F. Holtzclaw, Jr. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a close friend to many, and will be deeply missed. For many years she worked in the medical field for cardiologists Goggans & Brown before becoming a Juvenile Probation Officer for Tarrant County. After retiring, she established Alpine Florist in Ft. Worth until selling the business and moving to St. Francis Village. She loved Texas Rangers baseball, gospel music, and was responsible for organizing gospel music evenings at St. Francis for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack; brother Henry Holtzclaw, III; sister Jane Robinson, and grandson Leonard Adam Williams. Survivors: Son, Mike Jarrett and wife Teresa; daughters Mary Carolyn Mervyn and Barbara Sue Williams; grandchildren, Raymond Williams, Christopher Mervyn, Lesley Hagan and husband Russell, and Melanie Clancy and husband Sean; great grandchildren. Jack Williams, Raymond Williams Jr, Elana Mervyn and Jarrett Patrick Hagan, and several nieces and nephews.
