Blum, Tx — Marsha Lynn Pelham, 62, of Blum, Tx passed away Wednesday June 15, 2016 at her residence in Cleburne, Tx with her family by her side. Marsha was born October 9, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Franklin Perry Gilpin and Geraldine Ann Gilpin. The family moved to Texas when she was 5 years old and that is where she remained. She was a cook for the majority of her life and for the last 20 years she was a home health aide to her mother. She enjoyed crocheting and needle work, loved cooking for her family and spending time with family. She collected cookbooks and enjoyed doing crosswords and watching the jewelry channel. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, including her mother, Gerry Halbert, who passed away March 15, 2016; her baby sister DeeDee Braswell; and her youngest nephew Jesse Clint Braswell. She is survived by her three children – Dickki Lynn Gilpin and wife, Cindy, of Chalk Bluff, Tx, Nickki Dawn Walter and husband, John, of Cleburne, Tx, and Mark Allen Pelham of Blum, Tx; three sisters – Terri Land and husband, Ellic, of Mississippi, Vola Bahl and husband, Mike, of Blum, Tx and Vanessa Laxson of Blum, Tx; Seven grandchildren, a great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
