Marion S. Higginbotham
Marion S. Higginbotham, 67, passed away Feb. 5, 2016. Service: 11:00 am Wednesday at First Christian Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 pm Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Marion was born in Corpus Christi, TX on October 1, 1948 to Bert and Annette Swan. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1967. She married John W. Higginbotham in 1971 and together they have two daughters, Beth and Michelle. She was a longtime and active member of First Christian Church of Burleson where she was known and loved by all. She retired from the State of Texas Department of Health and Human Services in December 2010. Marion loved her family and her friends with steadfast devotion. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terry Swan. Survivors: Her husband of 44 years, John Higginbotham, daughter Beth and husband Steve Hindman and daughter Michelle and husband Brian McCrory. Grandsons, Daniel McCrory and Matthew Hindman. Her brother Jim Swan and sister Linda Swan. Many cousins, nieces and nephews.

  5. Dianne and I are so sorry about the loss of such a sweet and caring person!! She will be missed by everyone who knew her!! Heaven needed another Angel to watch over all of us!! Our prayers go out to John, Michelle, and Beth!! We will be unable to be there because it is a dialysis day for me, but our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you!!
