Maria Trejo
FORT WORTH — Maria Trejo, 77, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Maria G Pompa Trejo was the epitome of a virtuous Christian woman. She was faithful to her husband and family and always gave nothing but unconditional love. She loved being outdoors and nurturing her flowers and all of God’s creation. She loved her grandchildren and was full of joy and laughter. Her laugh was contagious and could brighten anyone’s day. Her spirit exuberated the joy of the Lord. She was a faithful servant to our Lord Jesus Christ and stayed in prayer for anyone who needed it. She portrayed Galatians 5:22-24 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There’s no law against such things as these. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature and all its passions and desires. She will be dearly missed and will live in our hearts forever. Nothing gives us more joy than knowing we will see her again soon and we will continue to celebrate her life and pray her legacy is carried through her loved ones. Was preceded in death by her parents Marcelino and Maria Pompa, her son Alfredo Trejo, Sr and her sister Carmen Garza and brother Enrique Pompa, Sr. Survivors: Survived by her husband of 54 years Antonio Trejo, Sr.,  2 sons Antonio Trejo Jr & Leticia Trejo , Mark E.  & Kazumi Trejo… 2 Daughters Lydia  & Isaac Hagwood and Lupe Trejo and 14 grandkids and 16 great grandkids. The biggest prayer warrior we’ve ever known is now walking on streets of gold!
