Loretta Durington Whitehouse
Cleburne–Loretta Durington Whitehouse, 82, longtime Cleburne resident, died at home on Thursday, January 29, 2004. Mrs. Whitehouse was born and reared in Dallas, the daughter of Robert Lee and Nellie Rice Durington. The youngest of seven children, she graduated from Garland High School. Married in 1949 to Dr. William Riggs Whitehouse of Cleburne, they have remained devoted to each other for 54 years. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend — well known for her gracious hospitality, warm personality, love of life and kindness to others. An active member of the Cleburne community, she served
