Lois Follmer
Lois Follmer was born on September 15, 1937 in New Jersey. She passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024. She married the love of her life, John Follmer, and together they moved from New Jersey to California where they built a warm and loving household, raising their three children, John Junior, Christopher and Theresa. Known for her fun, loving, high spirited nature and warm heart Lois dedicated her life to caring for children with special needs, providing them with the greatest love and care. Her compassion and dedication had a lasting impact on many lives. In later years Lois moved to Texas where she enjoyed the company of friends, family and her beloved pets. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones creating lasting memories. She is survived by her children, John Follmer, Christopher Follmer and Teresa Morris. Lois is also greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who knew her. May she now rest with the angels forever in our hearts

  1. Chris and Adrienne, my deepest condolences to you, your family, brother, and sister on the loss of your beloved mother. Lois was a devoted mother and grandmother, always taking time to watch movies and share memories with friends, visitors, and all her large extended family. I also fondly remember hearing all about her cherished pets, Casey & Peanut. Lois also had a wonderful sense of humor, bringing laugher and joy to so many, you got your sense of humor and tenacity from her. Please take comfort knowing your dedication, compassion, support, and presence in taking care of Lois made a tremendous difference in her well-being and quality of life. The love and care you gave her brought comfort and peace. Lois and her laughter will live on with your sharing stories and cherished recollections.

  2. Lois was such a delightful woman. She quickly made friends with everyone she met. She had a generous heart and willingly shared with others. Lois was loved by her family and she loved them deeply. She is missed by us here on Earth, but her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren. May all of God’s glory shine upon her and may she shine her light on us as she is now with our Heavenly Father.
