Alvarado, TX – Laura May Salas, 58, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020. She spent her final days at home, surrounded by loved ones. Laura May Salas was born on February 21, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a long-time resident of Alvarado, Texas, spanning over 40 years. Laura was a devoted mother who deeply cared for her children and granddaughter. She was known for her generous heart and her kind and compassionate spirit. Family and friends will profoundly miss her strength, love, and infectious smile. She is survived by her five children, Shana Ellason, Serafin Flores, Jr., Christina Salas, Brianna Salas, and Ajay Salas; and granddaughter, Ashleigh Rodriguez. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. at the Calvary Church of Fort Worth, 700 McPherson Road, Fort Worth, TX 76140.
