FORT WORTH — Laura Boyer Carbone, age 40, went to be with Jesus, January 25, 2012. She lost her courageous fight with Adenocarcinoma Pancreatic Cancer. There will be a memorial service on February 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home 12301 South Freeway Fort Worth, TX 76028 (Burleson) There will be a celebration of life on February 4, 2012 at Chig’s Bar and Grill 1201 Longhorn Rd. Saginaw TX 76179 following the Memorial Service. Laura requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to “Laura’s Wish” to help care for her children. Donations can be made through Bank of America account number 488033547152 She was a lifelong resident of the Fort Worth area who loved to sing, travel and spend time with her many friends. Her proudest accomplishment was being a mother. Laura kept her hope and strength during this difficult battle through her continued faith in the Lord along with having her children, family and close friends who never left her side. Laura was an amazing woman with a love for life; her energy drew people to her. She was a light and her charm, beauty and grace left an indelible mark on all those who knew her. She was not one in a million-she was one of a kind. Now she takes her first steps in a lifelong dance of happiness. Laura was preceded in death by the father of her children – Kenneth Carl Boyer, grandmother and grandfather – Marion and Wesley Nicholson, and her beloved daddy – Gene Hubbard. Laura is survived by her three wonderful children: U.S. Army Private Preston Carl Boyer – 19, Brooke Nichole Boyer – 18, and Bailey Danielle Boyer – 15. She loved her children with all her heart. They meant everything to her and made her so proud in all of their achievements. She also leaves behind her brother – Daniel Hubbard, mother and stepfather – Mary and Roger Cook, stepfather Jim Drewry her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear friends – Twyla Pettijohn-Cox and Heather Cates.
