  1. I haven’t seen Kris in years. I shared 6 very special years being his girlfriend when we met at Midwestern University. Kris was a amazing energetic person. He lived so fully. Him and I had been in touch over the last year. I am blessed that I got to have some closure with conversations we have had recently. I am sincerely heartbroken that he left this world with so much he could have still given. I know how much he loved his family and they are a great support to him until the end. Please know if I could be at the funeral I would. Prayers for your loss Rick, Sue and Eric. I know this loss in your family will be felt for a lifetime.

  7. They say your life is a canvas and it is painted by all you do and all the friends you have had is your life. Today, I can say that our Kris has painted a huge picture is his short 38 years. He was a great boy and he ran with the beat of his own drum. and we love him all so much. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED. We can only hope that we can learn to take life like Kris and enjoy the ride. Missing you all ready but never stop loving you. Aunt Rosie

  19. I’m so saddened to hear Kris has left us (until we see him again). I was the new kid in 5th grade. I met him on the trails, I showed him how I could jump over the bumps and ramp (oooh wow). Kris said watch this. As he screamed down the track my jaw dropped! Never seen anyone ride like that! We had many great memories, so much energy he had, always something fun hanging w Kris!
