  1. We were never fortunate enough to meet Mr. Shinn, but we know him just a bit through the legacies he has left with us in his son Jay, daughter-in-law Laura, and grandsons Joshua and Nathan. They are shining examples of courtesy, honor, and love.

We love you Jay, Laura, Josh, & Nathan and are praying that through this sadness you will share love and precious memories of the soul who has gone home.

  3. Our sincere sympathy for the loss of your dad. I grew up knowing him and his parents and dearly loved Gracie. My mother’s sister, Pearl, was married to Gracie’s brother, Alva, and they lived next door to each other. I enjoyed the occasional phone calls your dad would make to me and we would talk for a long time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

  5. We sure have missed Ken since he moved out of Wedgwood. The neighborhood hasn’t been the same since. You can never have enough friendly neighbors.

It was nice to see that Ken was getting terrific care when John Hughes and I visited recently. Ken was blessed.

  7. Kenney was my first cousin. His mom & my mom were sisters. My sisters & I went to Clarksburg to meet with him two or three years ago. It was great to get reacquainted. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
