JOSHUA — Kandice Ann Hutchison Campbell, 22, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Funeral: 2 pm, Saturday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 Friday at the funeral home. Survivors: Mother, Valerie Ann Campbell Oshel; step-father, Robert Oshel; father, J.J. Hutchison; sister, Kassandra Campbell and Kamryn Rivera; grandparents, James and Linda Campbell and Hoss and Nancy Hutchison; uncle, Stephen Campbell; aunt, Etta Kay Stephens and numerous other extended family.

You will be dearly missed. You were such an amazing friend to me. Standing up for me so many times, and showing me how to have a really good time. I remember when we bought all the iron on letters and sat in your room making our own shirts with the witty little sayings. And when you did my make up so I looked like the girl in the magazine before we went out. I am going to miss you so much, and I still cannot believe this has happened to you. You had an amazing life while you were here and you will leave behind so many memories for so many people. I love you beautful!

I attended Hill College with Kandi and I would like to tell that family that my heart goes out to you! I loved Kandi very much, we had alot of heart to hearts together, she was my kandiland and I was momma kasie lol…I can still hear her loud laugh and smell her farts lol….she was one of a kind and that’s what made her so special!! I would get so mad at her sometimes and get on to her for some of the stupid things she did, but we had to realize alot of it was just her!! but kandi also had a big heart!!! of course most of it belongs to Mom and Grandma, but she did care about people, even with the tough attitude lol…and her favorite anyone with a MULLET lol. I could share so many memories of her, but I will just send my love for now and know that she will definatly NEVER be forgotten!!! love you kandiland!!!!

Our hearts are so saddened by your loss, but we know the angels in heaven are rejoicing to have such a precious angel join them. It is just so hard when people are taken from us so young. May your many good memories help to comfort you at this time. May God’s peace, strength, and comfort be yours today and in the days to come.
Words cannot express the feelings at hand. I was shocked and still in disbelief with the news. She was an angel to me and shared her beautiful voice with me and my band for so many shows with so many on the books to come. She had the most amazing way with people to make everyone feel happy, but on that stage she was like an angel from above, but a rockstar angel. She commended attention on and off the stage and I was blessed to have her in my life, as a friend and bandmate. She will be truly be missed by me, the band and the fans that heard her and the fans that missed out on hearing an angel sing. I am lucky to have her, no, blessed to have had her touch my life.

I didn’t know Kandi very well but I heard
her sing several times and what a
beautiful voice she had.
I remember when we used to live in the same apartment complex during school, we used to always do leg workouts on the stair cases! We used to have so much fun together, as years have gone on we have all gone our own ways, but the memories that we have will always be in my heart to charish. Kandice, you are already missed and always will be. You our now our angel to watch over us. May you rest in peace with the Lord.
