  1. To the family of Joe Daniels. Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of your beloved father and grandfather. Janet and I considered Joe as our “brother from another mother ” and he regarded us as his two younger sisters from Brooklyn. Both Joe and Al were beloved by our entire family. He was the most handsome sailor that we knew (besides our brother Charlie). We corresponded through the years and knew about each other’s children and grandchildren, and how very proud he was of you all, from Doug down to Susie. We knew about his motorcycle, the birdhouses and his balloon figures. Janet and I will mourn his passing and pray that you find peace. You are all in our prayers. God Bless you. Terry Rizzotti and Janet Del Orfano (née Bruno).

  3. We bought the old ranch house on Elm Creek Road. Joe gave us a wonderful photo he took of the pond when it had snowed on the back of the property as a house warming gift. Had the corvette in a shed for awhile. Sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember your Dad’s kindness and warm heart!

  13. We will miss Uncle Joe. I have wonderful memories of time spent with him. Uncle Joe was genuinely interested in people and made a real connection everyone. He was always interested in what his nieces and nephews were doing. He listened to what we had to say, and shared stories and information he knew we would be interested in. For example, he taught me how to whistle when I was five years old. He was able to relate to where we were at and understand what was of interest to us at various stages of our lives. He was such a wonderful, creative and talented man.
