Joseph Dhooghe
Joseph “Joe” Michael Dhooghe at the age of 48 passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 in Midlothian, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1973 in Parsons, Kansas. He is survived by two daughters: Gabriella “Gabby” Dhooghe and Grace Dhooghe and their mother Marnette Robertson Dhooghe of Midlothian, Texas. He is survived by his parents: LaFaye and Larry Noble of Kansas and Jerry Dhooghe of Oregon. He is also survived by one sister Jamie Dhooghe Woods of Texas and step-siblings Brenda Pursley and Brian Noble of Kansas and Brad Noble of Oklahoma. Joe is also survived by his nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Midlothian Civic Center, 224 S. 11st Street, Midlothian, Texas. Joe was unendingly proud of his daughters and was a loving father. He encouraged them to learn music, create art, and to learn to cook. He loved to involve his girls in cooking traditional foods. He was passionate about cooking and could often be found grilling for his family and friends. Joe was a friend to all and loved each friend as family. He enjoyed music, football, hunting, golfing, and gardening. He also loved his English bulldog, Blue. Joe enjoyed his work. He specialized in Construction/Property Development with over twenty years of success overseeing all phases of construction. He had an extensive and varied background in luxury retail construction and specialized in vendor shops and remodels, restaurant remodels and interior maintenance projects. Joe worked at Neiman Marcus as both Director of Property Development and as a Senior Property Development Manager for 17 years in Dallas, Texas corporate office. He was awarded the prestigious “Winner of the NM Best award in 2011, an honor bestowed by Neiman Marcus. His career also included work at Dal-Tile/Mohawk in Dallas, Texas as Director of Construction and Facilities, and Takara Belmont to manage construction on high end spas and salons, as well as Store Fixture Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas.
