John U. Barker
John Barker passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Service: 1 p.m. Thursday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. John Ulan Barker born to Mary and Ulan Barker in Nemo. John owned the “The Little Red Barn” in Diamond Hill, where he sold antiques and furniture. He never met a stranger and always lent a hand to others. Survivors: His best friend and loving wife of 45 years, Betty; daughters, Reshee Barker and David Soto, Regina Hawkins, Renee Lane and Steve Lane; grandchildren, Noah Barker Soto, Cresensia Soto, Annalise Soto, Megan Lester, Madison Lane; great-grandson, L.J. Lester; his brother-in-law, Donald Dagnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
