Joe Bob Scruggs went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 9th at the age of 87. There will be a memorial service on Sunday Aug. 13 at 2 at Lane Prairie Baptist church of Joshua.  Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years, MAXINE Scruggs; sons, Ricky Scruggs and wife Kristi of Burleson, Michael Scruggs and wife Sheila of Weatherford; daughter Sebrena Steadman and husband Joe of Cleburne; six grandkids and abundance of great grandkids.  Joe was a man that Loved the Lord and served him for numerous years playing the piano at Lone Willow Baptist Church. He loved his family and was so proud of all of them. People that knew him had great love and respect for him. Joe is in the arms of Jesus now, no more pain and no more suffering.
