Cleburne:Funeral services for the Celebration of Life for JoAnn Cooper Chaney, 87, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 1, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church
JoAnn, you were a strength and great example for me in your concern for others, your staunch loyalty to family, and your wisdom in seeking things that were important to all. I shall treasure Your concern for me and my mom during the last years of her life. And now I shall miss you, dear friend.
We have enjoyed knowing Joann since we started photographing the Menefee Reunion years ago. She would call every year and say “Don’t forget the first Saturday of August” Of course, we didn’t because we look forward to it each year.We kinda feel like family now. This past August, she wasn’t able to attend but she sent her pastor by here to remind us! We really missed seeing her there. We mailed her an 8×10 but it was returned. If you would like to have it, please call with an address. We are so sorry that we are not able to attend her funeral but we only heard about this a little while ago and we already have other commitments this morning. Please accept our condolences and may God be with you and bless you in this time of sorrow. She will be missed .
