Jeffery Duane Beard
JOSHUA TX– Jeffery Duane Beard left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2019 CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church, 960 W. Bluff St, Ft Worth TX 76102; Officiated by Pastor Mary McCoy of United Bible Community. Flowers are welcome, as well as memorial contributions to United Bible Community’s homeless ministry, P.O. Box 186, Joshua, TX 76058. He was reunited with his mother, Reba Beard; his father, Jimmy Beard; sons, Jayce Beard and Jacob Beard; grandparents, Shirley and Mac Ray, and Margaret and Dave Beard. Jeff was born October 14, 1967 in Arlington, TX. He lived 51 years, 6 months and 28 days. He is survived by his wife, Linda Powell Beard; daughters: Ashlee Appleton (spouse: Brad Appleton) of Rogers, AR, Candyce Beard (spouse: Tyler Wiggin) of Cleburne, TX and Carlee Powell of Cleburne, TX; sisters: Candyce Sanders (spouse: Todd Sanders) of Cleburne, TX and Angelia Strotman (spouse: Jeff Strotman) of Alvarado, TX; grandchildren: Braxton Appleton, Asher Appleton, Crosby Appleton of Rogers, AR and Lilyan Wiggin, Emma Wiggin of Cleburne, TX; aunts and uncles: David and Sue Ray of Joshua, TX, Rhonda and Eddie Wilkinson of Mineral Wells, TX, Nelda and Harold Eason of Alvarado, TX, Shirley and Richard Beard of Arlington, TX; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jeff loved life, nature, animals, family and friends. He had a big heart, a funny personality, cared about people, and had compassion for those who had fallen on hard times. He loved to give of himself and share his faith through his home church, United Bible Community. He lived life to the fullest.

  2. I only got to know Jeff this past year. But, he was always such a nice guy to talk with. My prayers are with his family and close friends who will miss him.

  5. Heffe (Jeff) was the best friend a person could have! He added so much to my family’s life. His love for others, nature, animals & life itself will leave his finger print for ages to come. Praying for comfort during this season.
