Janet Beth Westmoreland
Burleson, TX- Janet Beth Westmoreland/Allen, 61 yrs. of Midwest City, OK went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 16th at 8:00 PM after a courageous battle with cancer. Janet is survived by her 3 Children, oldest to youngest, Amy Harris, Kymberly Milligan, Kristi Lillie, a child that was Adopted, (Jeremy) We continue the search for him, Her granchildren, Jordyn Milligan, Austen Mabe, Rikki Setlock, Zachary Harris, Landon Roberson, Abigail Harris, Grant Harris, Addyson & Bailey Migdalski, and Miriam Lillie. and 2 great grandchild, Aydan Milligan and Ryan Levi Milligan. Janets parents were Herbert and Bessie Allen of Midwest city, OK. Both deceased. Janet Westmoreland was a fun loving, humorous woman who was able to rejoice in the midst of her suffering. She was soft, witty, intelligent, and full of sarcasm! Mama would not dare have me write about the highs and lows of her life. Janet was born again as a trinitarian Pentecostal by the Spirit of God in November of 2017 and Diagnosed with cancer a month later. She found her strength and comfort in the Holy Spirit, even up until the end, she has steadfast faith and decided to finish her race, receiving that crown of Glory promised her. Mama suffered in bondage for many years and if she could be here to speak a final remark, I believe it would be “REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND”. Mama knew that outside of Christ there is no real life. Jesus said, BEHOLD, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW IN HIM! Isn’t that something!? Mama is a new creature in Christ. No more, pain, suffering, or thirst. She is now drinking from a deep well. She is seeing things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard. Jesus said, to be “Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!” Hallelujah! Mama was loved by many! She loved Sci fi movies, Star Trek, the movie Dune and Grease, Coke, and her family and greatest friend, Dixie Paschal. She was a graduate of Midwest City High School, class of 74! Janet was an attendee of First Assembly of God Church in Wylie TX. 1. Would just like to say how sorry i am to my cousins Amy, Kym, and Kristi. Losing someone is never easy. Just know that even though your mom is no longing in her human body she is still in your heart and that wont change. Rip Aunt Janet u are with your mom, dad, grandparents and sister naomi.

  2. I never spent much time with Janet but she is still my grandma. Every memory I had with her was full of laughter, she could always put a smile on my face with her silliness. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and will be greatly missed. R.I.P wish i could’ve seen you one last time. I will always love you.
