BURLESON — James E. Turner, 87, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, with his loving wife by his side. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Jim was a devoted Christian man, a loving husband and wonderful father. He will be greatly missed. Survivors: Wife of 66 years, Doris; sons, Ron and wife, Betsy, Garry and wife, Judy; daughter, Debbie McNiel and husband, Bob; sister, Betty Shuman; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchilden.
