James Cobb
  James (Jim) Harmon Cobb, Jr. passed away unexpectedly the morning of June 13, 2015 while on a business trip in Colorado. James was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to James H. Cobb, Sr and Lillie Evelyn Cobb. James is survived by his loving wife of 54 years , Dorothy Wishert Cobb and daughters Sherry Smith (Michael and son, Andrew), Susan Cherne (Scott) and Sheryl Seidel; Debbie Bush (Terry). Grandchildren Jaclyn and Jordan Cherne, Hannah, Harrison, and Haley Seidel. Nephew and niece Austin and Tori Bush. His brothers Kenneth and Barry Cobb, and sister Patricia Patterson. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter Sandra Kaye. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, 3:30 pm at the Burleson Seventh-day Adventist Church, Burleson, TX.   Graveside service will be at the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Alice, Texas, Monday June 29 at 10:00 am. He was a man that served the Lord his whole life.

  5. Jim Cobb was the best leader/boss/mentor anyone could have. I respected and admired him. My heartfelt prayers and sympathy go out to Dorothy and the family.

  9. I am a fellow classmate of Jim’s from WAHS in Alice. I am so very sorry for everyone’s loss of Jim. We knew each other well in high school, and it was always fun to talk with him at our reunions. We will all miss Jim. Our love and prayers go out to all of his family.
