  5. There are no words that can describe the pain of losing someone even though you know it’s coming. James touched so many lives I was blessed to have known him and his family for so long. Prayers to lift up the family in this difficult time, knowing he is no longer in pain and we WILL see him again someday. Lots of love to the Byford family and friends.

  9. I got to know James while we were both still working at Vought. We used to have some pretty good discussions about life and living. I always respected his opinion as he did mine. After we both retired we still had times at church to stop and talk. I considered him a friend and will miss him. Please accept our sincere condolences.

  11. There was so much to love about James it’s hard to know where to start. I think the thing that stands out most to me was his faithfulness to his church. He was there on his pew every service though more often than not he was alone. Thank you Sondra for completing his life and giving him such happiness in his last years. Our prayers are with you and the family. May God bless and keep you.
